Standing on the side of the road pointing with flash signs seems a little ineffective and a waist of time. I know that police are viewed differently around the world. In Angola a it was perfectly normal for a police officer to pull you over, take your license and driving records, ticket you, and then NOT return your license or papers…. you just tried your best to not look vulnerable or flashy because they had the sense of dogs, it seemed.
